How 'bout everyone share one of their most embarrassing moments? I'll start us off with a good one... ;) If the thread gets long enough, I'll share some more.

Last Year, I was walking to my drivers ed class, when I slid down a muddy hill. I got mud all over, up to about mid-back. As, my friends laugh at me, I decide to go to the guys bathroom to clean up. But, first I had to take a leak. :)

Then suddenly, a chick I know, walks into the bathroom. She, wanted to see what a mess I was. Unfortunetly, she hadn't counted on me being busy. And, I hadn't expected a chick to come into the bathroom. Needless to say, that was embarrassing.

I had a similar embarassing moment.

Rewind ~4 years.

8:25am with school starting at 8:30. It had been raining that morning.

I was walking through the front gates with the other 500 or so people that rush in at that time (the school had a bit over 1000 students).

Instead of walking through the building to get to my classroom, I decided to take a shortcut over the short hill that was near the gates. I slipped... my white school shirt turned brown from the mud and my pants were just as messy - in front of all these people who just had to laugh.

I could have died.

I decided not to attend school that day and walked right out again and went to my grandmothers house to get changed into clothes I kept there (I lived about an hour away - my grandmother lived close though).

That's probably one of my most embarassing moments... I haven't really made too much of a fool of myself luckily :)

Wow....hmmm.... I'm one that has a LOT of these, as I get embarrased really easily.

Here's one that comes to mind at 1:30am.

7th grade. For Christmas, my parents made me fake little business cards that had my personal information on it. After the Christmas Vacation, I went to school and was in 1 of my classes and someone saw the cards. They thought they were really cool and asked if I could make them some. I did, and had MANY other people ask me to make them some.

Anyway, I turned it into a little business and ended up making a decent amount of money (especially for 7th grade). Well, I went to school a few weeks later (I was the business card guy now) and decided that I'd try a little order form. The form was actually a lot of forms stapled together. In my 2nd period class, I decided that I'd give the person sitting next to me that booklet so that they could order the business cards. Someone sitting behind him noticed that and said something about it. The teacher overheard what was said and said that whoever it is thats doing the business card thing should plan on getting in trouble with the office because 'they' weren't allowed to be doing it.

That lunch period after I ate, I went into the kitchen (I used to do some work in there for free food....not because I didn't have the money, but I'm not a people person, so I liked to stay away from people if at all possible) and was working in the back. My principal had this thing with when he wanted everyone to shut up he whistled really load. Well.....he whistled.....yelled my name really loud in the cafeteria and EVERYONE looks over to the kitchen door waiting for me to walk out. EVERYONE knew that I was gonna get in trouble for that.

Anyway, the principal ended up taking away the $60 that I had made that day (before school and before the teacher speach during 2nd period), and told me to stop what I was doing and that I couldn't do it anymore. He just pocketed the money and told me to go to class. He kept me after the lunch period was over, so that added to it by everyone looking at my in the front of the cafeteria talking to the principal.

I know...not a very good one, but like I said, it doesn't take much for me.

Attempting to erase a disk in DOS 5.1...

Just speeding through it working from the C:\ root...

typed

A; (semi-colon)
deltree /y *.* (Delete all no conformation)

Well... It started working... And I realized that this was taking way too long... Then noticed my mistake... Frantically 3-finger saluted it.... Luckily no important data was lost... It just cleared the entire DOS directory and started working on Sim City....

But, really?...

I'm in college... So this is acceptable...

I was extremely intoxicated getting ready for bed and decided that I needed to check my mail... Well... In boxers and a T-shirt wandered outside to our apartments mail box opened in up and got my mail.... Started to flip through it trying to focus on the names it was addressed to walked up to my door walked in, and kinda dropped onto where my couch was supposed to be in my apartment...

I promptly hit the floor w/ a resounding thud... I looked up and I had walked right into my one of my neighbors apartment (ones I had never met, nor talked to since) and plummeted to the ground in the middle of their living room while they were sitting there watching a movie.... So I'm sitting in my boxers w/ a handful of mail on their floor and their sitting there w/ blank faces on mid-stroke of popcorn eating.... I promptly get up and walk out of their apartment w/out saying a word....

That's a good one..I actually walked into the wrong apartment once. Walked to the door with my head down so didn't notice...walked in..in a short state of shock seeing that nothing was where it was supposed to be, then I saw some guy walk around the corner, I turned around and walked out..Walked quickly to my apartment.

I've never walked into the wrong apartment (then again I've never lived in an apartment) - but I walked into the wrong classroom once in my last year of school.

I walked in, sat down, unpacked everything and then when the teacher walked in I realised my mistake... I quickly ducked out, looked at my timetable and went to the right classroom (which was on the same floor, but in front of another stairwell - both classrooms looked identical).

This happened to me, but it wasn't really an embarrasing situation (for some reason). I guess I got in and out pretty fast.

That was my biggest nightmare, though. Its strange, I'm graduated out of high school now, but I still have nightmares about going to the wrong class or showing up at school without clothes, etc. That school (see earlier post) still haunts me.....I HATED that place.

I know....I'm strange....

When I first use the internet, a site I visited has that fake "Format C:\" js prompt. It scared the s**t out of me, I frantically start backing documents to another partition.

One of mine was a few days ago when i was taking my dog out for a walk she jumped on an old lady and she screamed cause she thought someone was attacking her..

It was the old ladys fault for using that smelly horrible stuff that old people use, my dog doesn't like the smell..

Well, I don't get embarrassed to often, but here's one time that I was embarrassed.

It was the first day of school for my tenth grade year, and I had 6th period gym. So ya know, I jump up on the bleachers and chill next to my friends while they are calling off friends. After about 20 minutes I started getting antsy so I went to move my feet, and they got caught up in my bookbag and well, I fell off the bleachers. Now it wasn't from the top, but it was pretty far fall, 10 feet maybe. Cracked everyone up, including the teacher who had trouble calling off names after that. Really sucked cause were there was some fine women in that class, but oh well the whole class laughed about it for the rest of the year.

I am sure I have had many embarrassing moments, but I cant remember any; I choose to forget things like that. It takes a lot to embarrass me, but not much to make me turn red. So I guess it is a little embarrassing when I turn red over something stupid.

one thing I enjoy immensly is seeing other people having an embarrassing moment:

Last month I had to go to staples to by myself some mechanical pencils (those wood ones are shyte). I was near the counter where you bring stuff for the nice lady to photocopy for you. Today the nice lady was rather young and attractive(understatement. I took longer than needed to choose my pencils :D). I also noticed another person approaching the counter. I did not know this person well, but he did go to my school.

it turned out he was a Biology 12 student and needed color photocopies of the reproductive system. when he handed the girl the papers he was slightly red, and she didnt know what to think. after the copies were done he left the store quickly, tripped on something and all his color images of the male reproductive system went flying. it was ~4:30 so the store was quite busy. several people helped him pick up his stuff. many of them looked like they were seriously questioning this kid's motives.

I had a good laugh and bought my pencils. I was glad i didnt need to photocopy penis and vagina drawings.

I went to take a shower at college and left my key in the room. All I had was a towel and shampoo. My roommate was gone for the weekend, and so I decided to crawl through the open window. Only problem was that the screen was attached by big metal hooks on the inside. I didn't really have a choice and punched a big hole in the screen. The towel got snagged on a plant outside the window and I was about halfway in. The courtyard was bustling because it was breakfast time. I got in the window pretty damn fast and stayed in my room all day. The end.

In 7th grade on the day of my birthday during lunch period. Some of my friends did that thing were they grab you by your legs and arms and keep springing you up and down (aka: burthday bumps)

Anyways, they guys hands that were holding my legs slipped and he managed to frantically grab the leg of my pants so I wouldn't hit the ground, off came the pants and boxers bearing all.

Time for more fun... :)

Last week of school, my 10th grade year... my girl friend asked if she could borrow my bag so she could clear some stuff out of her PE locker. Course, I didn't ask what she wanted to put in there, I figured it was just shoes... :)

I get to history class and reach into my bag, and grab my stuff, and as I lift it into plain view. I realized there was pair of my girl friends underwear hanging from my binder. Luckily, only a few people saw that one. :)

Now that you mention that, I've had something similar happen to me.

It was a few years ago when I was still in school. I had brought a sweater with me becasue I knew it would be a cold walk home.

After school I went to my locker while my group of friends was waiting nearby and put on the sweater. What should pop out along with my arm, but a pair of my mother's underwear. I guess it made its way up the sleeve in the wash or something.

It was embarrassing because a lot of people other than my friends saw it and found it funny. I managed to direct the laughter at some other younger kid by throwing the undergarment to him and telling him to bring it back to his mom for me.

Nevertheless It was still pretty embarrassing

I've had friends over when I've gone to get something out of my clothes drawer and had some of my mother's underwear come out... was quite embarrassing.

Sometimes things get mixed up when they're being washed...

Anyway, I no longer live with my mum so I don't have to worry about that happening anymore.

Ok, I normally am a lurker - but I think I will add to this.

In the summer of 1999 after finishing 9th grade, and we were starting to build our house - I didn't want to go to a school for half a year and then switch when we moved. My parents totally understood, and long before I started that fall at the school nearby the house, that June I thought if I could find someone to talk to, so I could get an idea. Follow me?

After searching the AOL Member Directory; I found one. Her name is Mandy. Well we talked all through the summer, and I met her best friend, Beth. Well I lied in order to make me sound more "cool". I said that I would be at a concert; and I wasn't. It happened again for a second time. Well this was odd for me, cause I would normally be at these concerts. Finally I said "Hey, I am sorry - can we meet the first day at the school?". We never ended up meeting that first day nor did we ever formally say anything to each other for almost two years.

In November, in my English class was a girl named Lindsey. Really cute, really nice. Well since she was in the "popular" crowd with Mandy and Beth - word would spread. I didn't know they were good friends though. In English we did this excercise where you would be asked a question by the person in front of you, and then you would ask the person a question. Well I got asked the question "Do you have a job and do you like it?" by a person named Dan (useless info). Well I did not have a job at the time - but I was *REALLY* *REALLY* into the reseller and hosting stuff. It interested me, and I was planning to start a hosting company. So here's my response "I do a lot of internet stuff, such as web design and hosting.". Heh. I did do web design to some extent but the hosting was a bunch of well... baloney. They gasped with the response "What's hosting?". I explained to them what it was and I was like cool and then they started asking how much do you make. This is where I screwed up. I said I was making $4,000 a month, and had $10,000+ in the bank and I made more than the teacher. As I said the last part on how I made more than the teacher; it was some what directed to him and I feel I insulted him in a way. I felt like crap. Two years later I still got kids asking me who were in that class "Still do your computer stuff?"

Well I go home, and I get an Instant Message from Mandy. It was her, as well as Beth talking to me saying to me how I was full of ****, and a liar and such and how I was yadda yadda. I so wish I would have saved it. But all in all they told me one thing "You didn't have to do this to make us like you, etc." as you are just fine and fun to talk to. Well I remember that now - but they were calling me a liar on a lot of stuff. My $4,000 a month and my $10,000 + in the bank. Lindsey told them.

I never talked to Lindsey again, I think perhaps once or twice with a one liner. I never talked to Beth in the first place, but during my senior year (just this latest year) I did listen in on a conversation she had with another student. I was standing right there. I talked to Mandy that next year in late May of 2001, telling her to come back into the classroom in 11th grade. Then I finally said something to her directly in 12th grade in May of 2002.

But again, not very fun...
