hi,
ok..in my spare time (what little there is) i create and host small sites for some folks. well...now i've gotten my 7th domain that i'm hosting at exa-bytes. everything is ok except now two of the clients are asking me to provide them webmail at their domain name and i don't think that exa-bytes can do this on my current account.

so that brings me here...

do i need to open different accounts for each one? are there webhosts out there that will allow me to host seven sites under my care for one price?

am i nuts? (don't answer that).

thanks for any and all help. i'm at the point where i may have bitten off more than i can chew.

thanks!

Sounds like you could use a reseller account.

That's how I host several sites myself.

Reseller account is very cost effective. You should think about it.

Exa-bytes might not be able to do this, but you can :)

Are you farmiliar with PHP and Perl? You can probably install a webmail script yourself to work with the extra domain names... try implementing one of these (http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Email_Systems/Web-based_Email/)...

What you should do is get a reseller account that uses PLESK, PLESK uses a nice webmail program. That you can use without logging into the control panel itself.

You don't necessarily need a reseller account. Alot of hosts offer multihosting accounts.

puggy, I wouldn't call an account with support for 10 domains, a "reseller account either. ;)

Site's slick though, very nice job.

It is possible to host 7 domains on one account. Especially if the host is running H'shphere control panel ;).

P.S. I am not with psoft so please don't misundersand this as an advertisement.

a reseller account is the way to go... with Hsphere or Cpanel /WHM -

I'm doing the same thing with a reseller account that has Cpanel/WHM - each domain can have its own webemail access - sign up with a host that has good support - they will teach you how to do this .... would love to recommend my host here coz they provided me, a newbie, with excellent service - but I wouldn't want to start a flaming war - so if you need a recommendation, PM me.

That is totally not helping him at all Phatronic.

Yes i would say a reseeler account would be perfect. If they are not big accounts i know of this one place that seems cheap that i use. Im not sure if im aloud to say who it is though because i might get my name banned or something so if you want to know PM me. You pay about 10.95 a month and get 1gb space and like 18 gig transfer and up to 100 domains. And each one has webmail.
