I saw there was another thread about errors regarding registrating nameserver at NameCheap, but didn't want to hijack the thread, and created a new one.

I'm having some problems with registering nameservers. They disappeared from the controlpanel some days ago, but reappeared last night.

They were registered about 90 hours ago, and they still won't resolve. I mailed support and explained the situation and got a response 22-23 hours later where they explained to me _how_ I could register nameservers (went through the steps in the control panel).

I saw one of the reps was registered here, but I think he's turned off PM. Anyone here from NameCheap that can reply faster than the support mail?

Need to get those resolved and all the domains back up asap =/

I see there has been a couple of NameCheap posts lately here, but I can honestly say that I have had no problems with them what so ever except this little bump. The service has been top notch. :agree:

Sorry but I am having a very similar problem. I am trying to register my private nameservers and all I am getting is error "Error, root domain cannot be found" Sent an email to namecheap support and Mr. Jerry tells me how to create nameservers in my WHM?

It's already been created and needs to be registered with my registrar. Also cannot update the nameservers for the domain either!!

Just to follow on, got sorted and it's all good.

I had a reseller account with them, too many issues. I wouldn't recommend them.
