Looking for a cheap dedicated server. Any suggestions? Would prefer unmetered bandwidth (fdcservers.net) even if capped down to low bandwidth (1mbps or so).

:puke: unlimited... now that we got that out of the way.. The cheapest 1mbps server I have seen is over at Rackshack for $399.99 a month.. Plus its a compaq server which has been a very stable from what I have experienced as well as other people I know..

works great for a high bandwidth customer he dont mind since he pushes quite a bit.

cogent is veri fast sometimes :D

Speed isn't a real issue. If I can get 1mbps (128KB/sec) I'm happy enough. Don't want to be tied down to paying additional other than the basic charges. Non-crucial server. :)

hostmania.net for the unmetered stuff.

Yeah Hostmania is a good choic, only 75 a month plus 75 setup for 3mbs unmetered. Only 30 a month for each additional mbit of bandwidth so a full 10mbit Celeron server would cost only $285/month. Unbeatable.

Thanks all. I've scaled down my choice to FDCServers and HostMania. :)
