Hello:
I am looking for a control panel which offers an option to set up resellers. I have looked at the various control panels and was wondering if there is an open source option for little or no cost for the control panel which includes a reseller setup option? I have found webmin, but they dont have a module for the reseller option designed yet. Any others?
Thank You
Sincerely,
Chris

WebCP looks pretty good, but it's in the early stages...
I've also seen: http://www.webmin.com
Also ensim isn't that badly priced....

WebCP looks good, but the fact that is in development stages makes me want to not trust it as much as a more stable control panel. I love webmin(or atleast what I have seen so far). The downside to webmin is that there does not seem to be a reseller module for that program. I am not a perl programmer, so I am back against the wall. I have seen ensim, and like what I see so far. I was just trying to see what is the best for as little money. I love Cpanel, but the license fees are little high.

Hello, yeah i agree. I'm currently the process of looking for a Dedicated server, I am reseller right now using Ensim, and it's a bit Pricey. So I am weighing my options. Webmin also looks fairly new, but they have some good themes. But as you said, no reseller option, which is making me look away from them and possibly look at Plesk instead. How much is Plesk by the way if you buy it yourself and install it yourself?

Ouch.... Ensim seems to be better priced at $199 unlimited. :)

I'm planning on using webcp for my host. I have been working with webcp for about 2 months now and webcp has grown a lot thanks to the community. I'm not saying you have to trust webcp, but it's very good (imagine what it will be like when webcp 1.0 comes out!).

There is a reseller module (both free and paid versions) for webmin. search on the modules database.
Besides webcp, there is also simplecp at www.simplecp.com.
There are a few others, search the forum archive for their names and links.
