Let say that you offer 3 hosting plans - basic (low cost), intermediate (medium cost), advanced (high cost).
How is your customer base divided? The options are listed in the following order - low/intermediate/advanced.

The results so far (70% for 80-15-5) make me think that I have to raise the prices for my low cost plans and to lower the prices for the expensive ones. Any comments?

Well the thing here is how many of those 80-15-5 are offering the exact same options on low end plan as high end plan?

I planned on having a stripped down plan for sub$10 and high end plan around $50?
Would this alone help the above scenario?
