I got the email telling me a thread had been updated and I wanted to ask

How do you add the extra info in the header? Could you please point me in the right direction so I could add something similar to emails my server generates.

A site about such things would help.

Is it a separate field like from: (like the ones that list the client used) so it stays hidden unless full header is shown.

I filled in the form asking the above at

_G_, look in /etc/exim.conf for the headers_add line. That's where you can add any headers you want between double quotes.
