Hi all,

I've noticed that my and my friends RaQ3 goes down from time to time for a few minutes or longer. This has happened a few times in the last week that I have noticed. I was wondering if anyone else (with RaQ3 from 4WebSpace) has noticed this as well?

Thanks,
Saeed

Well, I was just about to make the same post...

It started about an hour ago, when my server was up and down like a yoyo. Now everything is gone, including http://www.4webspace.com.

I don't know what trouble they keep getting in, but I sure hope to see some stability every now and then. This should not become a habit :(

Everything seems to be up now again, by the way

heehee don't take people long to start posting does it?

I think they are dealing with the problems that have been reported about slowness.

Hope so!
"dealing with" has a far better sound to it then "suffering from"

Did you view log messages in /var/log/messages

I noticed a few attacks before my raq goes out of service along with some files changed and new daemon brought up.

Found two "USER anonymous (Login failed)..." notices, one on Feb 18 and one on Feb 19, but not in the last couple of hours, so the outage wasn't because of that.

I get the same failed messages. Also my site is down, I talked with 4webspace and they said its a problem with thier upstream provider.

Message quoted from thier tech support:
"There is a problem with our upstream provider. We are checking things out now
and are working to get things back up smoothly as soon as possible. Sorry for
the inconvenience. Only certain ISPs in the world are being affected by this
problem. We are determining the scope as I type this."

I don't know if it one person or not, but this ****head tries, or has a set set up (more likely) to do this on my server as well. Every damn day. Has tried to send mail through the server, etc...

Sick of this and maybe we can get tera to block him out of the network.

Is there no way to trace the kids attacking these servers ?

bunch of cyber-hooligans !

what do they gain by this ? Is this just they can feel proud they crashed a server ?

:(

TB is saying they are waiting on word from thier upstream provider. I have a program I am running on my site "livehelper" and I see people still accessing the site but I am not. My internet ISP is AT&T. TB believe it is just affecting certain ISP's
