Ok, I currently run a site with a forum of about 10k members. I am thinking about places ad's on my site. Can anyone tell me what I need to be looking at or doing to get ads on my site to maybe help pay for the hosting of my site?

Quite a few hosts have offered sponsored hosting in the Shared Hosting Offers forum.

If you can't find any then try posting a request in the Requests forum and I'm sure some fine host will be able to help you.

im not really looking for hosting, but someplace that pays me to put ads on my site.
