Hi,
I am seeking a position in the field of Technical Support in a webhosting company. I am 18, just finished school and available any time for many months (especially in the Summer, so even a temporary position is suitable) for the position.
Education
(A little UK orientated!) I have 11 A*-C GCSE grades and 3 A Level Grades (3 B's predicted this Summer) in English Literature, ICT/Computing and Geography. An A in GCSE ICT, a B in A Level ICT.
Knowledge
* Basic knowledge and experience in Linux Servers (I have ran several over the years)
* Excellent knowledge in cPanel and WHM
* Good knowledge in Plesk and Ensim
* Good knowledge in VPS
* Excellent knowledge using all manor of Helpdesk software, such as Cerberus, Kayako as well as many live chats
* Basic website/HTML skills
* Excellent ICT knowledge
Past Experience
* Provided technical support for small webhosting companies before 2003 (some as free, volunteer Work Experience)
* Helped set up and maintain a webhosting company for a short period in 2003
* Ran a free webhosting company (which eventually migrated to paid) for several years from 2003 - 2005 (cPanel).
Personal Skills
* Hard worker
* Polite
* Excellent spelling and grammar
* Experience in dealing and communicating with customers
* Work well as a team
* Quick learner
