Why do people still pay $30.00+ per year per domain?
Just curious... I mean the support seems equal. The control panel seems better on cheaper domain registars, but mostly equal.

Becasue most most people don't have the knowledge that we have. We are in this industry or we works very close with this webhosting industry.

a domain name is an important aspect of any company, so perhaps they wrongly equate the higher prices to a superior service which we know is not necessarily the case.
also perhaps they dont know how simple it is to transfer another registrar.
another reason could be that they are afraid of losing their domain name during the transfer.

I guess that would be true ("lack of knowledge")

they can't understand that you can get the same service (actually a better one - we all know!) paying just 9...15 USD per domain name year to another registrar, rather than $35 to Netsol.

Sad.........sad.
I don't understand how anyone could stand having to reply to emails and having a program read the data of an email in order to make changes to a domain.

why people pay $20 + for hosting mmm
enom retails domain names for 29.95 (I think) where resellers can buy them under $8
How much do you think the retail price for domains should be??

You do pay for quality and excellent support.
I got one of my domains through a enom reseller for like $9.00
I think godaddy, for $8.99 per year is perfect. If it went up a few dollars no big deal. I still have a few at register.com because I'm too lazy to transfer them. I should do that though.
I think its due also in part to netsol's "advertising" tactics.. Sending out email to customers of other registrars, etc.. Very evil! I think its also do in part to people thinking that the more you pay, the better quality you get, but from my experience with NetSol.. it is quite the opposite.
