Hello,

I rarely check e-mail within the "admin" mailbox on my Cobalt Raq XTR, however I decided to last night ... the mailbox was completely full and I couldn't get into it, so I Googled the issue and, following the advice given within a Raq forum, deleted the "admin" file under /var/spool/mail, then re-created it using:

"touch admin"
then
"chmod 600 admin"

All seemed to work well afterwards, I was able to login to the admin mailbox, etc. However within a couple hours I started receiving messages within the admin mailbox that were very old, back to September of 2006. Then this morning I had calls from clients with Domains on that box ... it seems that messages which had been sent out months and months ago were being resent ... hundreds of messages. Each and every Domain on the box, every single user account was resenging sent mail from months ago. I don't know what to do to get it stopped ... I've rebooted the raq but that didn't seem to help.

I have really clients that are raging mad and need help, please!!

Well if I had to guess.. and I do :) I would guess that your mailq is full of old mail.

You would want to clean out /var/spool/mqueue/q*
(q1,q2,q3,q4)
