Both my sites have been with 1000rpm for a couple of months. Turns out their upstream provider is Cyberwings....I've been off the air now for two weeks, with nothing but a series of promised restore dates. I need to find a new SP...now.
My needs are minimal....mostly just hosting info, no Frontpage or CGI, nothing complex. 1000rpm gave me 100 MB for $25/year, no other charges. I'd like to find something in that price range. Oh, and it'd be nice if it could stay on line......
Suggestions? Experiences?
Thanks.

I have heard of webstrike Solutions and i know of a few business partners of mine that used them a few years back!
They were reliable and affordable...
Kind regards

Gary, Troy, etc will take care of you for about $36 a year. Great service and prices. Only reason I no longer host my hobby sites with them is because I decided I preferred something other than PLESK. (They also have a few Cobalt servers that their older customers are on.)

i still have my 1st one on 1000RPM... (still) but i have a reseller account with www.freestylehosting.com and so far they really are great... BTW you did better to leave them... i think i might do that pretty soon too... i had a prob with a DB and they don't reply my emails.... in 4 days now.... and i send an email every day.... since 4 days ago.....

I can recommend WebStrikeSolutions. I hosted with them for about 2 years. They gave pretty good service and had good rates. I don't know if they still do it but they used to offer 1 year free (after a setup fee). I was skeptical at first but like I said they did a pretty good job. I left them recently though, not because of any problems but I just found better price/features. I think they have a bulletin board you can read and ask questions before signing up. Hope this helps!

Hey Kramer,
Yup, I was down to two - Webstrike or Dot5. They both seemed pretty good and answered emails right away (of course, they all do that before they get your money....) I went with Dot5 because I could host two separate domains on the same site. They've been pretty good so far, no complaints. Sorry to hear 1000rpm hasn't improved. I was a bit put off by how they handled the whole thing....they seemed more concerned with covering their butts than with their customers.
