View Full Version : Replacement for Cyberwings

I signed on with Cyberwings shortly before all the chaos with Lightship and everything started. It's been weeks and still no solution, so I'm forced to find another reseller account.

I host about 50 small business sites that generate very little bandwidth usage, and I'd be happy with 1 gig or so of disk space. While I'm willing to pay more than dirt-cheap-cyberwings prices, I'd like to pick up a reseller account for around $20/month or less.

Also, if you guys know of such a company that has been around longer than a few weeks- that would be nice too!

Thanks

I highly recommend PriorityColocation.com and Splashhost.com.

Hi,

Cyberwings has indeed shown the most irresponsible hosting ever. I am also in the same boat but I have found many hosts who qualify the price but I am not too sure about the quality.

Let me know if you find a good one the one i like is earhost.com but they are nits they dont reply emails :(

you might want to check out pixelseven, they have great service + down to earth prices without the hell that comes with cheap hosting. I have had an account with them for 3 months now and I can't stress how good they are.

good luck.
surrenderonline might be another option you can consider, they are equally good.

I signed on with WCSHost. I wanted a company that had been in business for a while (since 96) and their features are about what I was looking for. I always like seeing the online help chat feature as well.

I just signed up at http://resellershosting.net/ and they have been fantastic. My montioring service has shown 100% uptime. I've gotten great support too. Monte (the owner) even popped up on Yahoo! Messenger just to check in with me and make sure things were going OK. It's so nice to finally have a really good host.:)

I come from Cyberwings too... I signed at earhost.com on July 10, paid $16.00 for their reseller package, and they sent me wrong login information about 10 hours later. Now it's July 15, and I'm really tired of perldesk tickets and sending email to support. Everytime all their answer is is "we're looking into it" or similar.
If I don't get any answer by the end of today, I'll ask for a refund :(
Because of this new fiasco I had to sign at dixiesys.com for their $10.00 reseller. I got double the space/bw because of their July sale and my account was up and running in about 10 minutes. However, since earhost's plans seem so good, I was hoping for them to fix their support, but it's becoming obvious that it just won't happen. :(

I can't comment on much else until my domain transfers happen, but setup was finished in less than 2 hours and my account is ready to go already.
