Just found out my current registrar doesn't support custom nameservers. So I'm looking for a new registrar that will allow me to point ns1.mydomain.com & n2s.mydomain.com to 2 different IP address. From there I'd like to point mydomain.com to ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com without any problems.
I do have a DirectI reseller account, but the "Branded Nameserver" option is a bit confusing. If I can do it with DirectI can someone instruct me? If not, what's a good registrar to use for this?
Thanks in advance!

Well I won't claim for them to be the greatest, as I'm sure there are many other good registrars out there, but I use domains4you.com (yes the name is kind of.. cheesy), and I find their service to be quite excellent for my purposes. You can change your nameservers as you wish, along with the ability to control just about everything else.
I'm not entirely sure about recommending them or not however, as I've only ever seen one actual review posted here about them, but I've never had any issues with their services and I'd say my only complaint is that their support of dynamically changing IP's through services like zoneedit is non-existent.

I've has no problems with Domainsite, NameCheap or Dotster. Netfirms is the only one I've tried that doesn't let you set custom nameservers.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'd obviously prefer to move my domain to DirectI since I'll be managing my customers domains there too. Anyone actually understand the :Fully Branded Nameservers" process described here: http://manage.resellerclub.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq498.html ?

I'm sure there are many other good registrars out there. Plz check their services and try to contact their customers and try to get as many features they r providing and depending upon the feedback u can decide custom nameservers.
NameCheap , Squarebrothers and directi are good enough to look on what u have stated for.

I'm happy with Tucows/OpenSRS. They allow custom name servers to any IP. They aren't that cheap though. Your cost for a domain is about $10 US and there is a $100 sign up fee. You can also be a digital certificates reseller with them. Cert's start at $69 US cost.

Any Wild West reseller (ahem) provides easy custom name server setups.

That's quite expensive indeed. NameCheap has domains with all the glory for $8,88 and RapidSSL certificates for $12,88
