Anyone has domains with directi.com?
And trying to transfer their domains out to other registar??

Cause i try to transfer out mine from directi.com but always unable to do so.

My new registar said directi never accept to transfer over!

I recently (April) moved a domain from there to my preferred registrar without any problems.

They took the standard 5 working days to approve it, but no trouble.

Is your domain 60 days old (or 60 days with their service if you transfered it to them) ?

DirectI is ICANN acredited - that means that they have to transfer your domain out - else they lose their acreditaion.

I transfer domains to and from them often - but I just hope this post does not get them banned here at WHT as SG was!

well, transfer will also fail if,

1.) domain registration period is expired or soon to be expired
2.) no valid contact info on the file
3.) domain has 'transfer lock' feature activated
4.) domain is not 60 days old
5.) domain owner fails to confirm transfer within some time period

Give it a shoot again and I hope it will work this time!

We have problems with them on occasion as well, but we can usually retry the transfer and get it to go through on the second or third try. We have never been able to get a support response from them with regards to a failed transfer however.

Always said I never give permission to transfer the domain out but i never recieved any email from them!!!
