I need to intergrate a shopping cart . What would u guys suggest?

I would go with OSCommerce since you get perfect support because it is open source and the script is used by thousand's of merchants world wide and because it is free and you can customize it as you want.

What specific features do you need for your shopping cart? Do you need fast developer support (a must have for a mission critical site)?

Considoring this is for Windows 2000 -- That limit's really what you can use. Although I use WHMCS and apparently that's compatible for Windows..

I'd recommend oscommerce. Very flexible, intuitive product editor, easily customizeable, and free. If you need a custom feature integrated - you can find it in the hundreds of forums on using oscommerce.

So I strongly recommend it.

For payments I advise using 2checkout - accept credit cards issued in most countries, recently improved their interface which was definitely inconvenient before..

I would go with OSCommerce as chiarina say, since you have a great support because it is open source and alot of options to extend your shopping card.

I would like to jump into this with another suggestion - x-cart (x-cart.com (http://x-cart.com)). It is a commercial product written in PHP, but the entire source is available for purchased versions. My version was about $200 and it performs beautifully.

It works with over 100 different payment gateways - including paypal (all forms), 2checkout, google checkout, and more.

It uses smarty as a template engine, fully uses CSS, and is a dream to modify.

I have found that modifying the code in X-cart is far easier than the mess that osCommerce and the other opensource offerings have. For $200, the time saved in code management and programming justifies the price paid. Also included are active forums, commercial support, free updates within minor versions, and excellent end-user, admin, and developer documentation.

I am in the process now of switching 20 stores over to xcart this year for one client.

For PHP shopping carts, X-cart is my choice.

If i was you i would really go and hire someone to make you a shopping cart to suit your needs thus giving you the perfect shopping cart you can also make money from it by selling it !

osCommerce is a good one.
There are some other shopcart based on osCommerce,sunch as zendcart.

Zen Cart is a good shopping cart. I like it because it is easier to be designed and user friendly. :)

If you are looking for commercial product, then you can have a look at CS-Cart (http://cs-cart.com)

Prefer OpenSource than Commerical
X-Cart is most Powerful , though you can customize OsCommerce through Contribution to get X-Cart Features, but it take time and you need to have programmer or know PHP.
But if you do not have time, and you are managing Big Store then go to the X-Cart side, as there are number of Features help you to manage your website more quickly, plus X-Cart is Smarty (Template System) supported, so you can easily Change the design,
and from SEO perspective,
It has Built in support for HTML Content Generation, so you do not need to worry about that.
