including Windows servers, and have a 100Mbit connection,
and have reboots free of charge, 24/7.
Every server get's 1 IP at setup, however, you can request 9 additional IP's free of charge with valid ARIN justification.

and will apply for the lifetime of the server.

The servers are based in the US like caleb said, but we do have servers available in Amsterdam if you would need them :)

and our clients seem to experience the same thing.
If you email us a traceroute to sales@dedicatedbox.net we would be happy to check for you though what may cause slow speeds :)
Or maybe it was a temporary issue.
You should be able to gain the 10Mbit download that your connection allows without a problem.

Nice Prices, i presume they exclude VAT?
and as for the speeds from USA to UK do they drop much ? if so you mentioned that you have server in Holland which would obviously be very nice speeds.
i haven't noticed anything about how the server is reset mentioned. my previous server seemed to crash whenever a heavy load was put onto it , causing me to be without a server for a day at a time. so is it done via mail or do we have a remote way of doing it when needed.

and is there any issues with using Virtual PC or VMWare on the Linux distro's and installing windows?

The price is the price that you pay,
nothing else is added to you, so if our price is $50, then that is what you will have to send via paypal when you order a server, there are no hidden fee's :)

As for the speeds,
that depends what you wish to do with the server.
For webhosting, you dont notice alot of difference between USA based and UK base :)

I do have servers in Amsterdam,
but like I said, prices are different there,
power and traffic are more expensive (especially traffic is _very_ expensive in NL) and the networks are a bit bigger, so that's what you see back in the price :)

The servers are rebooted on request for you, per email, indeed.
However, if you wish to have access to a APC remote reboot system, so that you can reboot the server yourself by logging into a online interface which allows you to cycle the power, then this will cost you $25 USD/Month extra:

Our response time to email reboot requests is 30 minutes average.

No there are no issues with that,
you can do with the servers what you like, aslong as it's legal and complies to our service agreement and acceptable use policy.
This also means that if you wish to install windows on a VMWare, it does have to be a licensed windows, otherwise, it's illegal and not tolerated :)

Well, we do provide support,
but we wont do things for you like installing additional software, so yes basically if you have a control panel, and your apache has a problem, then it would be pretty much your own problem unless you have taken stepts to make it working but it still doesnt work, that's where we usually step in.
But yeah it comes down to it that you are responsible for the most of your server, we will do the initial setup :)
