View Full Version : An unusual and strangely intriguing junk email I received...

Normally, I don't make a point of reading my spam email (usually it's automatically filtered out) but this one came to an email account that I don't make public or use for anything other than communicating with my clients, so I thought it was a potential new client. So I opened it.

It turned out that it was an email promoting something I've never heard of before but I was interested in. It's software that allows online debit card processing for merchants. The link to the site is as follows:

http://www.insightsoftware.com/

I find the price a little high for something I've never really heard of before and the site really rather vague but I am interested in the product on my client's behalf. My question is if there is anything similar that's accessible in Canada (or Holland for that matter since I have a few Dutch clients who may be interested) and that is cheaper.

Thanks.

I think it is wrong to post this. Spam is Spam. Even the best and most reliable services should be avoided when promoted as spam :(

It sounds like he was intrigued by the concept and wants to hear alternatives to the spamming company, but ones that use the same concept.

That'd be the gist of it, yes. I make it a point never to use a company that spams (unless they're offering something so incredible that I can't possibly come up with a better alternative, really need it and cannot resist it...hasn't happened yet though.)

Sorry I made the post semi-obtuse. I didn't mean to confuse people. It just seems to happen a lot when I say things. :)
