I am sick of this s hit!

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=60410

Total Newbies coming to WHT just to bash someone, Competitors or whatever signing up with another name and posting crap as above. This thread got 3 pages of replies, Chick had to cut it down and good he did.

I think all posters under 10 posts should be put under "Mod approval before posting" so that their post only appeares when approved by a MOD.

I know that creates modding overhead but I would love to spend some time/day to help out with it and I am sure so would others.

Look at the profile of that aresehole that calls him self "eltruth" (The Truth) ... homepage: yahoo.com and no data whatsoever. I would ban his IP forever!

It is a shame that such propaganda against cabal was allowed to be seen!

I agree totally...
It really is an shame that it comes down to people needing to do such things, I'd be quite interested to see if Chicken or any other moderators can tell me if that ip is used by anyone else on the forum..

Thumbs up to NocSol and Headsurfer, you have shown great character to say you are a competitor...

It’s nice to know that WHT is more than just a competitor bashing ground but more of a nice hosting community....

Have a nice evening.
Shazad...

With roughly 1,400 new members signing on each month, this would mean up to 14,000 posts to approve. It honestly isn't all that wide spread to warrant mod approval of every message. It does happen from time to time, and when it does we try to take care of it.

Maybe Rackshack can appoint chicken as a full time moderator?

Heh? If Chicken is not a full time moderator then who is?

Well, we live in a world without gratitude :(

Chickens lay our eggs, feed us with their tasty flesh, fill our pillows with their feathers and mod our forums but still not a single dime :( :D

it is sad that some have to resort to this kind of thing however chicken is right... it would take way to much in resources for the occational occurence.
