HI all, im rather new to this and would like to learn how to develop a trailer like those movies trailers, pc games trailer etc. not sure where to start so came to webhostingtalk to see if theres any that can advise me. thx. :)

Nowadays that's usually done with streaming video through flash. For development you need Adobe Flash and to publish it you'll need a host that supports:

FFMPEG
FFMPEG-PHP
Mplayer + Mencoder
Flv2tools
Libogg + Libvorbis
LAME MP3 Encoder

Developing that trailer with Adobe Flash is relatively easy. Just open the video you've created in the program and convert it to flash video. After that upload the output of the program to a webserver and you're done. Well, that's the short version.
