my question is that simple and complicated at the same time
the company is registered in the EU and thus it will supply to EU consumers with the VAT 15%
let say the customer has ordered web hositng service for the amount 50 and VAT will be 7,50 so in fact he will pay 57,50. when 30-days days have passed any-time money back guarantee becomes applicable. What if he would like to get a refund? will you return him all 57.50 or just the actual amount of the service 50? what if 3 monthes have passed and you already returned that 7/50 to the governement? how do you people handle issue with VAT and refunds?

If you refund you refund the whole amount including the VAT and then enter a negative amount for the VAT on your next VAT return.

then probably minus the amount of VAT that was refunded with the whole amount when report of the VAT? as far as I know VAT return is when we buy smth with the VAT as business company, correct me if I am wrong

You refund 57.50 and pay -7.50 VAT to the government.

Like when you pay 100 Euros of VAT this month you now only pay 92.50 Euros. You do not enter the 7.50 Euros in the VAT return field but you deduct it from the amount of VAT you have to pay.

thank you all, I understand, will certainly consult with the account but he is on vacation that is why I ve decided to consult here, am I right as well that being registered in the EU we should add VAT to all consumers inside the EU and do not charge VAT for all the rest customers, that reside outside EU (I know the rule that if our business in one of the contries of the EU becomes popular, so we have a biggest share of our sales there we would have to register for VAT in that country and charge its residents on their country VAT level)
