Sorry I can't help with php stuff. images show links to http://www.hostriot.com - that might be a hotlink problem.

Try copying your templates folder into your main directory. Also, check the permissions of your images folder and make sure you have it (the folder) in the right directory.

Short of that, you may want to consider updating to the most recent version of phpbb (2.01). I think I've read about some incompatibility issues with templates and versions.
