That should be no problem, make an appointment with a business manager at a bank to see how they can help you.

I had problems with bank account, you have to send them your passport, last 3months bank statement, your adress,..

You need a properly registered UK company but HBSC will open accounts even if the director lives abroad as long as he has good references and proof of address

Some incorporation services sell compnaies with bank accounts and to be able to sign for that account you have to visit te bank with references and proof of address.

You have to go to the bank of course

As already mentioned here, it is very complicated to get a bank account in the UK if you dont live there. If no one can suggest a reputable service to you that can do it, then I would suggest that you contact a lawyer to open a company for you and in that way to get the bank account this makes it just a little bit easier.

Another option would be to contact your own local bank to see if they are able to help through there already existing "partnerships" with a bank in the UK.

Find the canadian branch or bureau of a UK bank and they should be able to organise it for you.

I was told that you can buy a UK company with an HSBC bank account in UK.or Cyprus for about 500 pounds
The director, it can be just one, needs to go to the bank with documents, references, and proof of address... to be registered as the new signatary
In some cases you may not have to travel to UK or Cyprus... if there is a willing local branh of HSBC... this is only available to $pecial customers. Not for the average Joe..

Paying any company or lawyer for a bank introduction is a waiste of time and money. All they will do is hand you the forms and tell you what the bank will tell you.

What would you like to do with that bank account that you can not do with an account in your country?

If you let us know maybe we can suggest a better option than opening an account in UK

HSBC, Barclays, Bank of Scotland
