I haven't cried for 10 years, but I feel tears welling up! I've been pushing this dovecot/postfix trouble for over a week yet..

I can telnet into 143 (imap) and check email (non found of course) and can telnet into 25 (smtp) but, for some reason when I EHLO I get

lake44.aptci.net is my "domain" name that was given to me by my hosting company, its not reversible (i.e. dig -x ip = lake44.x, but dig lake44, host not found)

When i send an email, it bounces (give it 24-48 hours) Its a nightmare to troubleshoot because of the time delay. But most of my emails bounce (undeliverable) logs are non existant!

Its a standard Postfix/Dovecot setup with virtual users in MySQL...

Any help would be appreciated..
