I have had this server for for over 6 months and I love it. It's fast, hardly any downtime, and the support is superb.

Server:
P4 1.6 ghz
256 mb of ram
40 gig hd (80 gig being added)

Company:
http://www.dncsi.com
location: Oxford, MI, USA
backbone: t1 to savvis & t1 to qwest

[root@ns1 root]# uptime
5:30pm up 17 days, 2:20, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
[root@ns1 root]#

My server was setup 3 hours after I ordered and there were no problems with it. Before my current uptime I had an uptime of 53 days and then there was a power outage, the apc was drained and my server was shut down.

I reccomend this company to the do it yourself types who don't like to be bothered by hosting companies. Their prices are very cheap is why I chose them for my personal server (I pay $76/mnth because I have 5 extra ips).

They are very speedly don't ask me how but the other night I downloaded a 178 mb file at 500+ KB/s off of it using my cable modem.

that's a pretty awesome price too (for their low-end machine) ... too bad they don't offer a bit more bandwidth though!

Well this isn't a cogent provider and in the real non-cogent world bandwidth still isn't that cheap. But if your paying $50/mnth for a dedicated server you can't complain :)

yeah! slap another 30 gigs on there and it's only $100! plus, they use the term *nix, meaning they probably have somewhat of a clue. :)

Heh, it's always a plus, I've never had a problem. They aren't one of those companies who always assume what you want they always ask you (i.e. when they add your new hd they ask you how you want it partitioned.)
