Prior to any post going up that we are down, we are letting everyone know now that we are completing one of the final segments of our move:

PLEASE REVIEW:

Dear WebReseller.Net Customer,

We are approaching the final stages of our move to the new data center. At this point we must work with Yipes! and Level3 to transfer our connection to our new facility. What will be happening is Yipes! will be transferring our Net service from our old location to our new location. The transfer over should take only about 10 minutes to complete. However, there may be some added time to this if there are some unforeseen circumstances. This stage of the move will help eliminate any latency issues that you may be experiencing.

Date: July 12, 2002
Time: 1:00pm to 1:30pm EST

We apologize that this move must be done during normal business hours. There are however a number of reasons why we are taking this route. The first and most important reason; is to ensure that the connection can be moved as quickly as possible. We will also have a full staff to take care of any problems that may arise from this move. We do not expect any problems with the move, but there are always circumstances that can go out of control. Additionally, we will have the full support of Yipes! and Level3's support teams to ensure a minimal down time.

Any questions or comments related to this problem should be sent to move@webreseller.net. Also during this downtime our Help Desk and Site will not be accessible.

Did I get stuck in the webreseller.net forum?

Wouldn't this be better posted on the site (well... no because you're experiencing problems...) but still, maybe an e-mail list.

(On second thought - maybe there's a post where people are complaining that your down.... if so sorry)

I used to be a very active poster here back when the board was in its virgin days, no ads, avatars.... anyway, just wanted to sink back into the routine. I wish we could still have a chat session on a set date each week, but so many have tried to get that going I doubt it can really be done.

Hello

Just for a update.

The update posted earlier was in regards to the router being moved. Server moves will continue through out the rest of the evening.

Please be patient we will be done shortly and have alot of servers in total to move.

Thanks

Joe,
So are all the servers going to be moved this evening or what? I only ask this because I was told that the move would be completed on Wednesday of next week by the WR staff when I called, but I like many other would really like to know when the actual servers are going to be moved.

Also for everyone else, the slowness of the network will end at 10:00 pm EST as that is what they told me.

Well, the speed seems to improve now, but not as fast as before. I can only get about 900 KB/s download from the server while it used to be 1.5 MB/s. I'm disappointed...

Is it ok now ? :)

Not really. Paul said the network speed should be back to normal by Tuesday or Wednesday. Let's just see...

Ok, thank you. I will send another mail wednesday to become customer, and this time I hope it's work.
