Has anyone tried VoipNow (4PSA)? It seems like a great product, just looking to see if it works as advertised. Are there any other similar packages out there?

You can try it yourself, VoipNow is free for two extensions.

Interesting. I need to learn more about VOIP. We currently do it with BCM's, but this could offer us a cheaper solution for the smaller customers.... which of course there are more of.

well there are many similar products. 3cx offers a similar product and is free for basic features. Trixbox is a free opensource solution, where as elastix is also free. You can try to find lots of these open source solutions where are more advanced and free too.

worphco, if you can find any free (or even paid) product that has at least 50% of VoipNow functionality, just name it.

VoipNow is not an Asterisk GUI, it's business solution. It uses Asterisk with its own applications to implement telephony functions. I could say much more, but I do not want to self advertise.

When you make a comparision, compare apples with apples, or at least compare cars in the same class.
