Are there any hosts that use C Panel with BSD. I tried H Sphere and did not like it (but that's another thread), so I definitely want C Panel.
I understand that there have been problems with C Panel running on FreeBSD in the past; but last I heard, Nick should have C Panel working with BSD by now. Has any host tried running C Panel on BSD OS lately?
If not, see if you can be a guinea pig for DarkOrb, and I'll be glad to be a guinea piglet [client].

We tried using CPanel and FreeBSD a few months back, and let me tell you, that was one adventure i won't repeat in the near future. CPanel for FreeBSD (at the time we tested at least) we extremely unstable, on an empty server spiked load averages in the 20.00+ regions, etc.
I'm not sure if they have a production release of the FreeBSD CPanel out yet (last time it was beta, we thought it was production, it said in some obscure part, i think on the installer "oh by the way, this is a beta" (not exact words, but you know what i mean)).

Yeah, I thought of you and what you told me a month or so ago when I posted this, but I thought Nick said he has a stable version that would be out by now. Have you seen a new version to try and tested it?
I'm getting tired of waiting so I may have to settle on Linux because I want C Panel.
I wonder if I could talk Burst.net into giving me a freeBSD C Panel test account.

Haven't had the available server to toy around with the newer version. I just had someone who was interested in a dedicated server and possibly the FreeBSD cpanel (ok its true, it was probably me more interested in getting him on it to try it again), if he picks the FreeBSD one, i'll try and remember to give you a holler :), though im sure he would be advertising it like nuts on WHT as he would most likely be the first host on WHT openly running it :D.
