Error :
Could not write to counter file /var/cpanel/counters/username.dat


I am using cpanel counter cgi in my homepage but it displayed the box with the above error message.

Similar message appear when I preview the counter in Cpanel.
And also it does not reset the count.

Has anybody had experienced this situation?

" chown username.username USERNAME.dat"
