I will program you almost* anything you can think of for a colo , i dont care about ram,d-space,etc. all i want is:
root access,
apache,
mysql,
pop3+,
php,
perl 5+,
T1+,
and
some kind of domain name / dns manager
thats kinda steep i know, but i will make you a flash site w/php, or just a layout w/php or just some PHP!

Hi,
With colo prices so low these days - you might want to do a bit of research before some one takes you up on that offer :)
also - chose a hosting company as close to your home as posible, you might have to visit your colocated server a few more time than you feel like.

whole flash website with php can cost up to $1000. You can get colo for like $40/mo or something near that. Of course quality of flash and host always depend.

Just to bring this thread back on topic.. It looks to me that chaossociety wants a dedicated server and not just some colo space since he said that RAM, disk space, etc doesn't matter and named root, apache, mysql, etc.

It seems he doesnt actually know what he wants from his first post. He thinks colo is an actual server - Do we really need more people like this in the industry:confused:

My god..
You guys flame this dude about not knowing what he wants. Did he say he is a hardware or server expert? No! He said he is a PHP/FLASH designer. I dont see anything saying he knows everything about servers there so why flame him? He is wrong and that is all.

This user spoke with me on AIM yesterday (Screename = Kaotic Mind Com)
He said: "can you give me colo"
I said: "No sorry we do not provide colocation"
He Said: "*******"
I found that very rude, and uncalled for. There was absolutly no need for that sort of language. I warned him via AIM using the feature and then blocked his screendname from my list.
Beware when dealing with this person, his site seems to be a warez site, and he obviously doesnt even know what he wants and to top it all off he is very rude for no reason.
