So I got my second attempt at using linux. I calfed the GUI (Read X windows) and went straight command line.
Sheesh... do i feel dumb... anyway... I figured i would Install SSH.. did it and got it working ( with a little help from here) then remembered webmin. Downloaded insstalled and started playing ( keep in mind this is not a production box, Its and old 166 OC'd to 200 with 32 mb ram and 2 gb hd).

So i get to work last week and decide to login ... it locked up... I fugure perl is runaway, and i cant even log into SSH.
So i wait four hours and then shutdown -r now.
Try to log in 10 minutes later... no response.

Its three days before i can get to the system. I killed it :(

So i re-install.. every thing...

Now its up... and time to play... I try to configure sambe ( cuase i have a windows network running... It tells me its not there...
so.... ftp to samba.org

5293193 bytes received in 814 secs (6.3 Kbytes/sec) ( seems slow to me, but what do i know...

off to play some more...
