It does all the footwork of combining the sales from all the sales websites. met0555 04-29-2007, 12:13 PM maybe at dealasite.com i didn't check it but u can get it from the offer taken. anthonysun 04-29-2007, 02:01 PM Thank you guys! I also got this: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm (http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm) They listed out the prices for recent transactions as well as the archive (in the archive link all the way on the bottom). anthonysun 04-29-2007, 02:04 PM Also, it is interesting that Video.us was sold for $75,000! The highest for .us domain ever. For those who want to invest big, go to eBay and search for Play.us. The domain is on auction. I bidded $200 (my max ever), but did not get it. Last time I checked, it was $1,025 and still has 6 days left. stub 04-29-2007, 04:34 PM I think you will find namebio.com includes all the DNJ listed sales and many more, from many more outlets and all price ranges. anthonysun 04-29-2007, 04:36 PM Yes, thank you so much Stu! After I checked the .bz, I now know my .bz domains are not worth much. :( But it is good to know so that I will not waste more money. Again, thanks! - Anthony EncoderZ 04-29-2007, 06:10 PM Geez! I've just looked at the prices some .mobi go for - thousands :eek2: Prompted me to get my sites network name :) I had co.uk .eu and .mobi for the sister site but, didn't have the .mobi for the network domain, until I saw that :stickout: kohashi 04-30-2007, 01:43 PM www.dnsaleprice.com interesting that namebio claims average sale price of around 11k while most larger sources like sedo(and i think fab) are saying near 2000. anthonysun 04-30-2007, 01:53 PM It is the average price. Given that there are many other high cost domains in there, the price got averaged. Else, it would be good to get 11K for each domain sold by me. :) Interestingly, sex.com was sold for $14 millions. I just heard from a rep in Godaddy that there was a law sue involved. The guy who owns sex.com was being sued for taking the domain when it was EXPIRED! But he won - he got to keep the domain. (Imagine a domain like that would expired?!!) kohashi 04-30-2007, 03:44 PM Sex.com didn't expire, it was stolen for years. You can search for more details about it, also the lawyer in mexico being shot, lots of drama surrounding that name. |
