Hi. We've just purchased multiple racks and cisco switches and are about to get into the dedicated/colo market - but a question I should have asked before:

How good is the market for colo/dedicated?
Would anything like $300/mo for dual 933Mhz, 1024MB ram, 40G ide drive sell? is that too expensive? (lol after all - How can I compete with rackshack!?)

- lots of free traffic
- cheap control panels
- good support

Also, charging monthly fees for hardware upgrades drives away people like myself.

It's at our racks at IDT - we know the CEO howard jonas :) - We have basically all we need - but I would include about 100G in the plan above... (PS - It would have SimpleCP that we are working on :) - but a more advanced version we didnt release yet :D )
