Hi there!

I was wondering if any of you had any experiance with the Reseller Packages from Good Deal Hosting, they seem to be very cheap and offer a lot of extras such as Client Exec, Nameserver setup and 24 hour unbranded support tickets for customers. I was wondering if anyone here at the forums heard anything about them and their service level. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Maybe do a search here for reviews? A lot of hosts these days offer private nameservers & free billing application...

Don't trust to cheap services. Everytime are f...ed !
Don't trust to webhost provider like datapacket or 247-host.
If u want best service u need to pay more.

What's their domain?

There is an ebay seller by that user name. No domain/site active at that domain...com or .net

Or just try to google them.

There is nothing like Unlimited in Hosting Industry. If, you check their ToS then you will find they are caping you everywhere and if, they don't even have ToS then it's up to you weather trust them or not.

I would like to answer, but get an error message saying that I have to make 5 posts before using bbcodes, but I have neither smiley nor link in this.

Hi

I didn't choose Good Deal Hosting because they were cheap, because I already had a very good webhost where I could have unlimited numbers of domains. I choose them, because I needed a specific script to work on my site, and the programmer told me it would work there.

One day the cPanel was down for more than 24 hours, and I couldn't change my 404 page. I already had one, and I pointed to it with my .htaccess file, but it didn't work on Good Deal Hosting for some reason.

Next I had problems with the script on the 404 page, and a contact form. Both things had been working without problems on my old server.

In short - I asked support for help, they closed the ticket without solving the problem, I cancelled the account when I found out, they refused to refund my payment (go figure! they argued for the longest time over $40!). They said that I cancelled too late, because they had changed their policy. I saw 30 days, when I joined, now it's only 14 days.

You can get more details here:

(Oh, I cannot post links. Contact me directly, if you want to read my blog entry.)

Hope this can help someone NOT to make the same mistake, I did! It not only cost me money for the hosting (not much, but anyway), but it cost me a lot of wasted time too.

Kind regards,
Britt Malka
