i wanna put some files for some community
basicly i'm musician and i want to put some files (progs) that other people from board can download them.
any hosting company please help.

Krapan, you are not from U.S. or U.K are you? :)

Anyhow, getting caught hosting or distributing warez in the U.S. on the commercial scale carries a hefty fine and possibly a jail time for whoever does it. If I am a hosting business and I take your money and in return let you distribute warez from my servers Uncle Sam is going to take everything I own and then some. Even if FBI decides not to bother me for helping you to distribute warez Microsoft lawyers can be just as bad. I am aware that in some countries especially in my former motherland ;) there are no laws against warez and its free for all, but fortunately or unfortunately its not the case in U.S.

Im not supporting warez in any way but i can tell you that you cant host it on any company servers or they will get pissed. but if you owned the server at your house on evena cable modem you could let you buddies download it from you direclty. But still its illegal just to let you know. I just figured i would throw out some helpful information since you didnt get any but i dont support you at all. Also you could run fservs in irc places like dalnet but password lock the room so only your buddies can get in but still its highly illegal and you really shouldnt do it. I figured i would tell you this before you just go buy hosting somewhere and then uplaod it anyways and get your self in deep (you know what) with the law. Either way your running a risk of getting yourself in trouble with the law.

Nah i think hosting off your 14k modem is alot better.

just make sure no one snitches and contacts your ISP.... that could be just as bad as getting nailed by a host.

Yes very true. Like i said i would suggest you not do it at all man. Its very dangerous. I know friends that have been arested for it and i know others that are under court orders and even one that was sued by microsoft. So i mean if you do it you can get your self into trouble. Try to stand clear of that. Tell them to go on dal.net for irc and look in there and get it from someone else if they need it so bad but dont give it out yourself.

14.4kbps modems? I still remember using a 1200 modem with my C64 back in the days. Then when I upgraded to a 2400bps modem I thought it was blazing fast! :D
