don't like people when they do WhoIS for my domain name and see that i have hosted my site in "dnswithus" network...
because one of the public information that listed in domain is DNS,
can anybody tell me how to hide my true DNS and put instead of that something like this:
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com
note: i know the way of enom
but my domain on godaddy
thanks:agree:

I believe there is no way to do this because it is now allowed by ICANN. The only way I can think is make your own name servers and have them point to your web host.

I've done it 100 times for customers. As your host should.

Isn't this called "private label" nameservers? Like skshost said, contact your host and see if they offer this.

You can change but can't "hide" a nameserver. DNS converts a domain name to an IP address. It must be public so that browsers can find and visit your site.

Many reseller hosting providers offer this (private label nameservers) at no extra cost with their $20+/month plans.

You'll need two dedicated IPs which is generally provided by most hosts for around $2-3/ IP or sometimes bundled along with their hosting package. You then need to goto your domain control panel to register your private name-servers. Generally, registering your private name-servers is free with registrars like eNom, namecheap, etc.. but, registrars like - directi charge a dollar or 2 for this feature (I'm not sure as, my domains are not regged at directi).
So, better consult your webhost and/ or domain registrar support and pricing page.

a little extra privacy can be had by using 3rd party dns.
