Buyer beware! A guy named Ryan who posts on this forum under the username Xpandhost ripped me off to the tune of 100 dollars.

He failed to deliver an account as agreed upon after I sent him a hundred bucks for a year of hosting.

He ignored my messages and stalled. Unfortunately I tried to dispute the payment with Paypal and it had been just a couple days past the 30 day limit! My mistake!! Damn I guess that's what I get for trying to give the guy time to make good on his promise.

Do not do business with these rip off people at extrope.com or mainserver.us or the user Xpandhost. I'm sure by now he has abandoned his username as I see he hasn't logged on since June 30. Beware folks, not everyone on this forum can be trusted. :(

Ok now that you have posted this same thing a couple of times in different places, do you feel better?
I am sorry that you got screwed, but multi posting won't help your cause.

It seems she was warning people, I'm sure anyone thinking of signing up with the company feels better. Is it a crime these days to come to WEB HOSTING talk and comment about WEB HOSTING?

Actually posting might help someone else if they don't get the same treatment I got, or if some hoster thinks twice about doing the same thing to someone else. Reputation in this biz is worth protecting. On the other hand if people don't speak up when they get crappy service what is that?

The thought occurred to me also that perhaps the company in question might see the thread and decide to offer me some satisfaction. Since they have ignored all other attempts to contact them, it seemed reasonable. More reasonable than slinking off quietly.

But to answer your question no, I don't feel a whole lot better really just a small bit - thanks for asking!
