Well then, I have been with Sonet7/Liquidweb for a year now. I have nothing but praise for them and will proceed to write out a full review in the hopes that this will benefit some other reseller refugees.

Service

Their servers are speedy, their support is quick and you're always treated very well by their employees. When I first moved my sites there, I asked them to transfer all of my files over from my previous host. Not only did they do this for me, but when they encountered issues in getting things up and running after getting the files, they took the time to manually restore files one by one and ensure everything was working 100%. Good stuff.

I can't say enough about their phone support either. That's the meat and potatoes right there for me. I've only had reason to call them three times in the year I've been with them, but the times I have I've never had to wait on hold. I call, and within one to three rings somebody picks up. And my issue has always been resolved within 10 - 20 minutes. Marvelous.

Servers and Reliability

They have a fantastic data center, period. I've only experienced two downtimes on my websites in the year I've been there, and they only lasted about 15 minutes at the most. I called in once to see what was going on and the guy that answered the phone actually knew that the server was having problems, told me they were already fixing it and that it should be back to normal within a few minutes. And all of their phone operators are native English speakers..no outsourced support. So, you don't get the run-around and they actually help you. I love it.

Billing system

I really love their billing system. It's simple to use, gives you some nifty features and has a built-in ticket system so you can send tickets to support or sales. I have used tickets before and they have always been answered within a few minutes to half an hour during busy times of the day.

They give plenty of features to keep you and your hosted site owners happy, as well. You may not get 200 gb of space and 1 tb of bandwidth for $10 a month, but the quality, reliability and service you get from Sonet7/Liquidweb is leaps and bounds above the rest. I highly recommend them and hope that other refugees whom have fled from their reseller nightmares will find peace in going with Sonet7/Liquidweb.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it will aid those of you considering Sonet7/Liquidweb in your future endeavors.

That's a nicely written review. Sonet7 and Liquidweb are trusted names, and reviews like yours make us know the reasons why that is so.

What domain are you hosting with them?

It's not often that we hear about the Sonet7 brand around here. Nice to read positive words being said about them. :)

Yes, I really feel that they don't get the attention they deserve. My theory is that they don't oversell enough for the common WHT goer.

I agree with you 1ststrike. They are not given due significance and the reason has to be the non-overselling environment as well as a ceiling on number of accounts.

Their hosting services are really good. But if you want to upgrade your reseller(or VPS) account to a dedicated server when what will you do? Because they don't upgrade the accounts to a dedicated server and cannot move all of your data to a server. Most companies do it but they don't.

Hi Dhcart,
This is not actually true. Depending on the configuration "moving a site" (upgrading) can be a Herculean task or a click-of-a-button, so it kinda depends on your specific situation. However, I can assure you that we do assist in site transfers. Just let me know your hostname and I'll get a technician to help you.

1ststrike,
Thanks for being a sonet7 customer!
