How can y ou resell a site where your site looks exactly like thiers, only your prices are higher.... ??

We are considering sticking to godaddys reseller, the only problem is I can only offer their packages... I cant really customize it..

I am debating between staying at godaddy... or changing to a VPS + Merchant account + maybe a domain reseller account of some kind?

We can afford about $25-40 a month.... Im just not sure what would be best to do... Seems with godaddy I get SOOO much more than I get by doing a VPS.... however I have absolutely no control....

Well here's what I think if you're serious about becoming a a bigger company I'd get a VPS. Just being a godaddy reseller most from what I've seen even look like their site so they probably lose sales that way as well. So why not just put in the extra money and work and actually be a unique hosting offering.

Not to mention some people may shy away from sites like that just because there are so many, not to say that their services are bad, but your always better off having your own VPS/server so you can create your own plans/limitations as such. Perhaps both would be ideal?

Thanks Tony. Btw you are already one of the hosts I am considering.

I am currently considering the following (Not in this order)

DevotedHost.net
Jaguarpc.com
a2b2.com
futurehosting.biz
onthespothosting.net (This seems to be the best "so far" but i just found them, and I have learned that after I dig... I find dirt... On just about everyone)

So I understand that ANY good host thats been around long enough will have some dirt. Period.. because they have so many clients , one is bound to get upset.. But I do look at the dirt and see how bad it is....

#1 I want to be under $40
#2 I want a merchant account included and onthespothosting is first ive seen with this..
#3 I want instant setup sites (I guess WHM does this for me)
#4 I need additional IPs for $1-2 each preferrably like 1 or 1.25 each (each domain i host will get its own IP)
#5 I would "like" to offer domains... I am starting tonight to find out other options for reselling domains only....
#6 I would like to offer just about anything I can... such as SSL certs, and lots more...
#7 I definitely 100% need to be able to oversell.
#8 My own name servers
#9 It would be nice to have 24x7 "TRUE" support

DevotedHost (tony) please tell me about your service? I would like to know more about you since you seem to be very active about helping people w/o even asking them to use your services.

I just came from your site.. tell me how you do it? I considered doing like you (theres a way to make home go back to your true home page) but I dont like going back and forth between 2 completely different sites...
