Well, seems like something went really bad. Does anyone know something about it? They're not offering anymore ventrilo servers. What I heard seemed to be some problems between them and NationVoice and getting their ventrilo license revoked.

I've heard that also. People were getting license messages when trying to connect.

Were they an official Ventrilo partner? I don't see them listed now.

They used to be.

They used to be.

Under what name? I've never seen them listed there

The list on ventrilo's site is not the full list. There are companies with their own license, like my company, who are not listed on the site.

Was that a recent thing? NationVoice seems to have their ducks in a row from what I've seen.. if it wasn't being dropped from Ventrilo, I'd just be speculating.

This thread is about MakeaVoice, not NationVoice

Speaking on behalf of NationVoice:

We are fully aware of the issues MakeAVoice are having, we issued a warning 2 months ago about their unsavory business practices, and now that they are verified to be fraudulent, they have gotten their license suspended/revoked. From what I understand, they were using a stolen Ventrilo license, and bribing providers/resellers that were customers of other providers to switch over to them just to stay alive. In any case, they no longer offer Ventrilo, just TeamSpeak. Good riddance.

Zach -

Is that supposed to be an official press release? If it is, oh my. 5th grade English class to rescue.

Regardless, sad to see some people getting the run around from MakeAvoice. I've heard some costly stories already.

No. Glad to see your skills are improving. I am too. So have I, especially a lot of them yesterday.

Is that opposed to the sales tactic of just paying everyone in a professional/invite league or offering 50% discounts to anyone else to use your services?

Joe,

I disagree. Companies agree to sponsorships as a regular occurrence.

Huh? Was that response to another thread?

The equivalent to what I said in this thread would be something like...

Cite: Nike and every player/team being paid to only use Nike

We don't go stealing people's customers. They come to us.

I've only heard bad things about MakeAVoice. Oh, what Ventrilo licensing (or lack thereof) drives some people to do. Bad MakeAVoice, bad!

I also had a resellers account with them.

I only bought it for ventrilo then started getting complaints that the ventrilo wasnt working, attempted to contact makeavoice by email (no reply), tried IRC (no reply) and both msn contacts are now permanently offline.

I cancelled my subscription and issued a chargeback (succesfully) for last months payment.

I'll be going with another company now.

Successfully got my money back from a paypal dispute. I dont think anyone offers smaller slot quotas for cheap. Makeavoice starts at 300 slots for about $40 monthly

Yeah I saw at Nationvoice its $85 a month which is Twice as much as Makeavoice had it at

I suppose the price reflects the service, and I'd be willing to bet nationvoice wont be getting their license taken away any time soon
