It's been running on my server (CPanel). I never saw this run when I had Ensim on there and I don't like the sound of the name. I don't have irq running on the server and to the best of my knowing nobody that's hosted on it does.
Just wondering if this process should be running or not...

Don't worry, it's part of the Linux kernel. As I recall it takes care of handling IRQ (interrupt request) sharing and things of that sort, thus the name - kernel soft IRQ daemon.
It's IRC that you don't want running on your server -- not IR'Q'! :)

Good to know :)
Also, would anybody know where to find a little tutorial on installing Bastille with CPanel installed. I had it installed under Ensim and it keep processes in line, but I doubt using the Ensim settings will work very well, if at all, seeing as certain ports etc. are different.
