Lots of people say they offer Yipes or Level 3 as a backup if Cogent goes down. They just just buy the pipe and leave it empty? I know Yipes cost like 3K just for 10mbps so I was just wondering how you can just leave that empty. qps 07-10-2002, 04:49 PM You can get a pipe from Yipes at 1Mbps and leave it empty, and you'll have the scalability to upgrade it at any time.
