From what I have seen all those seem to be pretty decent choices.

I'm currently with imhosted for a website I own. They are a very good host all in all however there support may seem a bit lacking. Anytimes that I've emailed them after support (and it is usually installing php) it would take them up to a day to reply to my email.

As for the installing php, well basically its not much help if your just out to learn php. I tried installing Invision Boards, PHPBB forums, shoutboxs and a piel of other scripts, and it usualy comes up on the installation page an error connecting to the mySQL or something. I dunno if its just my small knowledge of php but i find it a slight problem. (When I do email imhosted about the problem, they just go ahead and install it for me, without telling me how they did it.)

My friend had a small problem with support one time, and had to wait for up to 2 weeks to get a domain name registered. Imhosted said it was a problem with their email support and he got extra space in return.

Btw, if your after support, don't bother adding there SN on AIM, because nobody is ever online.

DarrenK:

THANK YOU! Actually, I had read some "not so good things"about ImHosted.com, but they're prices seemed so good I was hoping someone would tell me good stuff about them. Unfortunately so far it's mostly negative :( Oh well! But seriously, thank you so much for your comment :) Actually, im kinda leaning towards dot5hosting.com

I don't have any first hand experience with those hosts. I was using HostSave and had problems with the lack of support, no MySQL capabilities. I moved a little over a month ago to
http://www.digitalxweb.net

You should check them out. I agonized over who to go with, but have no regrets whatsoever.

Good luck in your search.

Thank you all for your response! :) I've narrowed my choices to either www.mediatemple.net or www.dot5hosting.com; Any comments on either? Maybe someone who's had experience with etiher of these hosts could help me out with some insight of their customer service, reliabitlity, etc. Thanks!
