Fantastico still remains the most popular auto-installer around and it would make sense to continue with it. We could fix many problems by just visiting their forums. I would advise you to contact http://netenberg.com/ via their forums and post your problem there. I am sure it would be resolved to your satisfaction. A few months back installatron had issues with their licensing server, and kept showing "Copy Unlicensed" or such to our clients. They never fixed the issue (even after I started multiple tickets), so I just removed it. I am saying that Fantastico *should* be able to update scripts but seldom does. It has a number of scripts which are outdated or commercial (yeah... I know they can be disabled). It is also slightly more expensive that Installatron which includes nice command line tools and easy updated. Unfortunately Installatron doesn't integreate properly into rvskin and generates a lot of files. |
