Im thinking of offering cold fusion hosting, but want some advice on which cf server program i should use, also is there specific hardware/ specs required to run this? Also is it financial viable to run this.

for coldfusion you need coldfusion server from macromedia. it's financial viable only if you have a pack of clients for that. for specs see macromedia website.
