Of course I'm using Allmanage for free accounts, it's automated, flexible, and very easy to use. Why do you ask? That has nothing to do with this offer.
Website Rob 07-10-2002, 05:13 AM Just out of curiosity, Allmanage no longer seems to be available. All download sites are incorrect.
Was this a Free or pay-for script? If free could I trouble you for a copy of it? I've been looking around for a script of this type and they (the good ones, anyway) all seem to cost an arm 'n leg.
Allmanage was/is free . Here's the mysql version, see attachment.
Website Rob 07-10-2002, 06:18 AM Thank you much, Greg.
What version do you have mas? Maybe this can help you out also. ;)
I understand there was some concern about a problem with Administrator Password Retrieval Vulnerability (http://www3.ca.com/Virus/Threat.asp?ID=53) in v2.6. I understand there was a fix for it and being as this is v3.13 (so it should be fixed anyway), is there anything else to worry about?
My concern was to find a script that not only limited Web space, but also Data Transfer. No information I've read on Allmange mentioned about this. Although I'm using WHM/Cpanel, I don't see where I can use to limit Data Transfer with it -- since I won't be providing a CP anyway.
Found one script that limits Data Transfer, but seems to be as bad as WHM in the sense that, it does a "soft limit" instead of a "hard" and it's a case of closing the barn doors after the horses have gotten out -- as they say. I found out today about WHM using a "soft limt" when a Client "accidently" went 16GB over Data Transfer quota. Sorted it out to our mutual benefit, but I would sure like to prevent these types of situations in the future.
mas3000 07-10-2002, 12:15 PM I've got Allmanage 2.6, which is all I could find. Maybe I should upgrade to 3.13.:)
And no, bandwidth limiting is not available. Although I wish I could limit bandwidth.
If you'd like to see a demo of the script I can give you the URL to an Allmanage script that I have up. Just email me: sales@mas3000.com , unless you've already got the script working.;)

DynastyHost 07-10-2002, 01:32 PM Anyoen know what is the latest version of Allmange?
thesmallguyshost 07-10-2002, 08:13 PM What in the heck does any of this have to do with the the originator's post? He's trying to sell something here and people start jacking his thread......
Well never mind... I see the thread starter joining in on the conversation about a script so if he doesn't I don't either :)
mas3000 07-10-2002, 10:48 PM Well, they asked. Although, rastoma, I would rather leave this out of this thread.:D
iamdave 07-11-2002, 05:20 AM mas3000, do you have a website, for your customers to view?
mas3000 07-11-2002, 06:30 PM Yes, all I need to do it upload.:)
I'll post when it's up.
