Well, you option would be a quick turn, but as I posted in your other thread, sell ad spaces. That is what alot of sites do to help cover thier costs.

Example:

Your hosting is $60 per month

Sell one ad space (the most visible) for $80 per month - you just made $20. Then sell a couple of smaller ones for $40 a month, pure profit to cover your time to keep the site up.

I think the days of making anything off advertising are long gone.. Not to bum you out or anything but I would not think those spots would be worth more than 10-15 dollars a month.. get maybe 2 advertisers and you should be able to afford yourself a nice hosting plan.

Try selling crack or hookers off your webpage. Just find a local pimp or drug dealer and ask him if you can be his reseller.

Well basically there is no set way to make profit ... as far as hosting is concerned profit is easy to make well using RS servers .. but then you learn you need something better .. you'll make alot less .. more clients = more staff or even staff needed = less profit ... it goes down and down :bawling:

That one was good. As far as being long gone, I don't really think so. I still get those freaking pop-ups, and all the ads from x10, and everyone else. Obviously someone is buying if all of them are still out there.

Those guys from x10 only buy if you're over 75 million impressions per month and don't pay well until you're much-much higher.

Targetted advertising is a way to go. Find community members looking to sell to other members of your community. If that doesn't work, find the most popular service on your page and charge a buck each month to access it :). Might lose some viewers but if you're out there to make money...
