I have been looking for a host for a long time now... while my site "rotted" away at another server. So, one day I was just messing around viewing all different hosts, and I came across dot5hosting.com, my first impression was basically, hm this site looks decent. Then, I contacted their support on AIM, I was talking to him, and I began to get really interested. This server was nice, and so was the control panel. When I started surfing the pages, I noticed how quickly everything was loading. I again was overcome with "wowness." After viewing all their solutions, I realized everything was quite a good price. Their support was too great with helping on everything. Including getting me signed up and about a few questions I had. Their support is definatley all in real-time. Overall, this host gets 5 out of 5 stars. I would recommend this server to anyone, wheter you are just a blogger, or someone quite serious about building a mega-site, such as I. This company is surely second to none. They seem to treat everyone with equal respect. Not like I find at other hosts where, you either wait a day or two for a support response of pay up a couple dollars to get ahead of everyone. Once again, I find this company knows exactley what they are doing and deserves this recognition. I hope this mini-"review" was good to you. Another little tid-bit is, I am running a Technical site, so I do know a little about computers, that may re-assure you that I know what I am talking about. BTW, sorry this post got so long.. I just wanted to make sure that everyone would realize how satisfied I am with this company and how satisfied you also can be.

P.S. :: My Site is HalamTech.net - Computing news, information, help, archives, etc. We are still moving everything onto the new server, so things might take a week or so to get up. Thanks beforehand if you visit us.

Yea, the owner is very nice, I have talked to him personally quite a lot. Also at the company is a guy named Mike, who is very nice too. It's just a great company with great people and great servers.

I have to agree with IamHalam.

I was left high and dry as well when the server my site was on crashed, my backups were toast, and we had to start all over again.

I came here, posted what I needed, and dot5 was there within minutes.

I checked their packages, and they didn't have exactly what I needed... so where other hosts would back away, they worked with me on a custom package, and had me set up within HOURS.

unbelievable.

No only that, but their support is second to none. Any issue I have can be resolved real time. they are straight up with you on all occaasions, have an EXCELLENT control panel to run backups, manage users through ftp/mail/ssh

I can't say enough good things about the company, the servers are lightning fast, I've had 100% uptime, and now, I'm upgrading even more through the RS packages.

If you're looking for a host, dot5 (http://www.dot5hosting.com) is the one for you :)

Thank you for all your kind words about our service. When we started up, what you have all mentioned is exactually what we wanted to offer to our clients. I am glad to hear that you are all happy with the hosting service in which we offer.

Yes, the forums have also just been launched, looking a little on the quiet side at the moment though!

Take care,

I'm totally excited by dot5hosting now!

Like IamHalam, I've been pissed by my current host. But have been leaving my site as it is. These 2 days, I was just looking around for a good host. And today, I found it (if what you all have said is proof enough to go by.) Will most probably sign up with them. I'm glad IamHalam shared this piece of good news with us! :D

Btw, I love this forum. ;)

I guess we're all suspicious when heaps of newbies hit the board at the same time singing the high praises of their new host.

Hope all works out for you guys/gals with your new host. :)

I just signed up with dot5hosting and I am very happy. They answered all of my pre-order questions quickly, both in their forum and via live chats. Their help ticket system is great and all of my set-up requests have been resolved quickly.

There is one problem with this geat service. I don't have an excuse to delay site deployment or updates. :stickout ... runs off to work on site.

Hey Aussie Bob,

Yeah, it's always suspicious like that. But I'm glad I found this forum. Used to really go around looking for hosts blindly. Hope to learn more from now on.

As for dot5hosting, I can only sing praises for their support. My site just went up on their server, so will take some time before I can pass any comments on their uptime and stuff. As for now, I can only say that their support is really commendable. I think it's the most obvious quality of the company if you get a chance to interact with them at their forums or over ICQ/AIM/whatever.
