View Full Version : ResellerZoom Vs. HostNine Vs. LaneHost
Malware 04-11-2007, 11:39 AM I'm currently a H9 reseller and planning to go to RZ, but today I found LaneHost and it seems pretty good..
H9 Plan: Entry
RZ Plan: Failover One
LaneHost: ReHost Lite
What you guys think?
Thanks
Mustafa 04-11-2007, 01:50 PM Hello,
Sure Resellerzoom is the best. :agree:
Regards,
Vinayak_Sharma 04-11-2007, 02:40 PM I have had some experience http://www.hostingzoom.com parent company of http://www.resellerzoom.com and I can say that they are really good, performance, uptime, support every thing had been excellent.
Reseller Mike 04-11-2007, 02:43 PM Both seem to have pretty good reviews here and certainly satisfied customers who are members here on WHT. You may want to search around the forums a bit http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php to see what reviews you can come up with.
Have you sent their sales team any pre-sales questions to test reponse times?
DaKine 04-11-2007, 04:06 PM I recommend RZ. They have good hardware and support.
geekie246 04-11-2007, 04:29 PM I have an account with LaneHost and I'm impressed with the service & support that I've received. The guys were great in transferring some accounts for me and very receptive to anything that I wanted to do.
Nnyan 04-11-2007, 06:38 PM I don't know much about Lanehost but they seem to have a pretty nice offering for the price (and free WHMC too which is very nice). Based on this I'm going to do my own research on them and possibly add them to my "to test" list.
I had an account with ResellerZoom for several months while I was testing them out but that was back before they offered the failover plans. They were rock solid for me with just a few minor issues that did not affect downtime, they have an excellent rep here.
I've heard very good things about HostNine and I'm currently testing them out for the last week or so (?). At least the initial support was very good and their welcome e-mail was one of the nicest looking ones I've seen in a long time = ) for whatever thats worth! So far performance is near the top of any hosts I've had. 50% off the first month was nice too.
Unfortunately after my trial run with them I doubt I'll keep the account since the only thing I need right now is MySQL5/PHP5 for a few "clients" and they don't have mySQL 5.

Yes they do.
http://www.hostnine.com/reseller-hosting/
It says under Supported Features PHP 4 and 5.
Nnyan 04-11-2007, 06:57 PM Actually I what I said was that i needed mySQL5/PHP5 and that they did not have MYSQL5.
Malware 04-11-2007, 10:59 PM As the OP of this thread and former "almost-leaving-H9" I would like to announce that I'm definitely not leaving H9 for a long time if things stay the way they are right now...
So, to answer my original question.... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOSTNINE...
I have NOT tried the other two, but H9's support goes way beyond..
Thanks guys...
ps.: I will be posting a review for H9 ASAP!
Storm911 04-12-2007, 05:06 AM Actually HostNine is more better than RZ in every thing support and uptime and live chat they are very friendly Support
Thrive 04-12-2007, 11:54 AM Thanks for this, Just got a package with RZ! Hope the quality is as good as you said it is.
Highland Web 04-12-2007, 03:59 PM I would give their sales department a chance to communicate with you. Open a few tickets and see how many days it takes for them to get back to you.
salamk 04-13-2007, 02:27 AM How about Gisol.com ? anybody has any experience with them?
krazchemra 04-14-2007, 03:49 AM I don't recommend hostnine.
They do only ads in internet and don't have good servers. they have much limitations and service is too expensive. they force you all time to buy their dedicated server for vary high price - $300.
Aurelian 04-14-2007, 04:23 AM I can recommend RZ but only because i have 6 accounts with them. I had NOT tried h9 or lanehost.
So for me, right now, it's the same.
I also have a GREAT EXPERIENCE with InnoHosting. Will write right away a 4 months review.
Ben_G 04-14-2007, 10:06 AM I don't recommend hostnine.

Not to go off topic but your site caused a server to crash on more than one occasion. We promptly notified you right away about the issues and you turned around and threatened to "hack" our servers.
Here is a direct quote from your ticket:
"If you do that i and my staff will do:
attak all you servers and websites
do antimarketing everyware to post true how you work with clients
post too all h9 clint and offer whem you competitors
i will do it !!!"
"that is my last word and you see wiill get loss and how many !!!"
It's plain and simple. Your site crashed our server (two reboots) and we were more than willing to work with you on a solution but you refused and made threats against our company. We run Dell PowerEdge 1435 Servers and any customer of ours on this forum can vouch for that fact that our servers are powerful and not overloaded.
Any hosting company in the world that cares about their hardware and customers would ask you to do the same thing as your site is not scripted very well and it uses over 60% of the system's memory (Yes over 2GB) in spikes. We provided you with logs, possible solutions, and yes a dedicated server was one of them but that means you can purchase a dedicated server from any provider you wish. We were just making a suggestion for you so you don't move to another reseller host and experience the same issue.
